Ageless hatred, eternal loathing.

I hate you. You know exactly who you are, though you have not an inkling of who I truly am. My loathing of your very essence will outlast time herself. When the winds have forgotten your existence, and the dawn no longer warms the earth after her cold slumber, I'll be the one sitting alone in the darkness to judge you for the suffering you've inflicted .. and I will show no mercy.


Artist's Notes:

Sitting within the wash of her emotions, detached from the aging time, she has waited patently for such an eternity that she herself has turned to stone. But still, she waits, her determination has not wavered even as the world around her seems to crack and fade.

Contrary, she has not turned to stoned because of a cold heart, but because she's been sitting in one spot for such a length of time. Which was also one of the reasons why I picked a lady with such a classic dress. Well, that and I simply adore that hat.

I've had many people tell me that no one ever really hates someone else, and that in time we all forgive, forget, and move on. My reply to them is ... then you've never know what it's like to truly suffer at the hands of another person, a person you were suppose to be able to trust, betrayal is worse than rape. And I should know, I've experienced both .. and in this case ... from the same person.

Yes, this originally had a tree in it. I've removed that and replaced it with the ropes because I wasn't satisfied with the detachment from time idea I was trying to convey. Surprisingly enough, it was extremely hard to find rope that actually worked, thanks so much to Disney-Stock for the amazing stock!
